Dr. Gladys Hill is originally from Colorado and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Microbiology and Immunology at Colorado State University. She then moved overseas for veterinary school at the University of Edinburgh. After graduating with her veterinary degree, she went directly into general practice in Rhode Island. She then decided to pursue the rotating internship at Ocean State and now is staying on as an emergency doctor.
Dr. Hill has an interest in internal medicine with a special interest in immune-mediated diseases, infectious diseases, and endocrine diseases. Dr. Hill loves integrating these interests into emergency medicine.
On the weekend, Dr. Hill loves reading books on the beach with her golden retriever, Guinevere, and her terrier mix, Penelope. She also has a cat she adopted from Scotland named Winnie, a lovable rescue cat named Augustus, and a Redfoot Tortoise (Artemis).
