Pet Loss Support Group

Pet Loss Support Group

Planning Ahead We at BSVESS know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet and would like to offer our support during this difficult time. As part of our commitment to our clients and the human-animal bond, we offer a Pet Loss Support Group. The group provides a supportive place to share with others who are experiencing a similar loss. Many people wonder if their grief is “normal” and can be surprised at how it impacts them. Grief is a testimony to the importance of the relationship lost and the depth of love shared.

Our Pet Loss Support Group provides:
  • A safe, compassionate space to talk about and feel your grief among others who understand
  • Information about the grief process, coping skills and self-care
  • Discussion of memorial and ritual ideas to honor your pet’s life
  • Finding an enduring connection with your pet while moving forward
Group is open to clients and the community and there is no fee to attend, although a small donation would be appreciated to help support our financial assistance fund for pets in need

Day: every other Tuesday
Time: 4:30 - 5:45pm. Location: Zoom
If you are interested in attending a group or have any questions, please contact:
